ISUZU BIGHORN / MU TURBO SPECIAL

 

 

These turbos are prone to failure due to their heat shield material. The heat shield lets go and clips the turbine wheel causing it to fail. The common sign is a whine sound. These turbos cannot be repaired and are only throw away units.


We have genuine IHI VICC replacements, which supercedes the factory turbo. We also carry genuine Isuzu gaskets, studs and nuts.

Isuzu

Bolt-on replacement Bighorn intercoolers now available. These produce up to 20kw more torque due to the new bar/plate design which dissipates heat much more efficiently than the stock unit.

 

We require your old inter-cooler, as an exchange. These are a great upgrade.

EGT Gauges

We now stock EGT gauges for monitoring exhaust gas temperatures which is a must for the serious tuner.

 

By installing a EGT gauge, you can monitor the engine exhaust temperatures and know when to back off before it is too late and engine damage occurs.

 

These are highly recommended for every high performance vehicle. Gauge comes with probe and 8ft of wire. Mounting bracket can be supplied if needed.

Diesel turbo kits

We have turbo kits available for most diesels, whether it be an upgrade turbo over your stock turbo or a complete bolt-on kit for you naturally aspirated engine.

40% increase over stock torque

At lower revs - in this instance, 2,400 RPM - where you really need more to get away and pulling power, the turbo really shines. Torque leaps from 183nm all the way up to 255nm

At just 2,000 RPM, the Safari 1HZ Turbo System produces an exhilarating 379nm of torque. That's a 40% increase of the standard landcruisers 271nm at the same engine speed.
